Spring wreath

I found this idea WAY before Pinterest. I have NO idea where I found it but I really like how easy it is. You just cut yourself some strips of fabric, tie them around the wreath & smoosh them all together. I bought everything last spring when I was pregnant and thought I would have time to do it. Pfft. Well, just a couple baby-napping/Gossip Girl watching Sundays, and look what I have! I love it & it's on my door right now. :)

I should have finished these a long time ago...

but simplified it a bit & added some things.

It was REALLY difficult to get Brenna's handprint. I had to swaddle her tightly leaving one hand out, wait for her to fall asleep, and then very quickly & quietly paint her hand without her waking up. Getting the handprint on the ornament was the most difficult part, and I wiped off prints (or should I say fistprints) more times than I could count. BUT. I finally got them done. We are giving them to grandparents & great grandparents this year.

I also made a blue & silver one...I will update when I get a picture of it. :) This was pretty easy...unraveled coat hanger & a buncha plastic ornaments.
