Have a holly jolly....

I did not do exactly what the directions were )http://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gifhttp://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gif
but simplified it a bit & added some things.

It was REALLY difficult to get Brenna's handprint. I had to swaddle her tightly leaving one hand out, wait for her to fall asleep, and then very quickly & quietly paint her hand without her waking up. Getting the handprint on the ornament was the most difficult part, and I wiped off prints (or should I say fistprints) more times than I could count. BUT. I finally got them done. We are giving them to grandparents & great grandparents this year.

Original (better, and also because she is a good photographer)

Here is mine & I LOVE IT.

Ok, this was delicious

I usually do not post recipes that I make from Pinterest because there are SO many of them, but THIS. THIS. WAS. FABULOUS.
I didn't even take a picture of mine because I wanted to dig right in. Sorry.
I give it as many stars as possible.
Holy crap. Make it. (That "holy crap" was for you, Barbara!) :)

A new crafty item & our little announcement....

I made this with thin wooden letters & covered them with scrapbook paper & other embellishments. :) Um, and yeah...we decided on a name.

Here was the Pinterest inspiration. I am kind of partial to mine, but this is where the idea came from:

First CREATE project for the nursery

I need stuff for the walls of this baby's room...except for the checkerboard wall, it's pretty boring. I searched everything..etsy, amazon, etc. I found this very adorable thing & loved it, but christ, look at the price! Clicky

Sooo....I thought to myself, I can MAKE that! Now, I certainly can not whittle wood, so I didn't even consider that. But, I can cut me some paper. :) So I did. I used a plain 'ol exacto knife (I practiced once) and cut out the exact same thing. :) Then I backed it with some polka dot paper. Now all I need is a frame! Yay for cheap stuff! :)

The first thing I made from my 165,352 Pinterest pins.

It was a recipe, but so what? :) I will go create stuff later.
I made these

and here is my pic (I know it's not as good as the professional photograph in the original blog, but hey, it's proof.

I have already run out of milk because they are so good & I keep eating them. The best part about them is that you don't have to turn the oven on. Simply fabulous.
